Privacy policy

How Rosco collects, uses and looks after your personal information, including the photos and videos we capture at your event.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Rosco ("we", "us", "our") runs Rosco 360 Photo Booth, Rosco Photo Booth and Rosco Visuals, an events business based in Melbourne serving all of Victoria. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

  • Contact and booking details: your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue or suburb, event type, guest numbers, and anything else you tell us in a form, email, phone call or social media message.
  • Photos and videos: images, 360 videos, prints and footage of you and your guests captured at events we cover.
  • Sharing details: if a guest chooses to send their photo or video to themselves at the booth, the email address or phone number they enter.
  • Website data: basic technical information your browser sends when you visit our site, such as your IP address and browser type.

2. How we collect it

Most information comes directly from you: through the enquiry and contact forms on this website, by email, by phone, or through our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages. Photos and videos are captured at events with our booths and cameras.

3. How we use it

  • To answer enquiries, send quotes, and confirm and manage bookings.
  • To deliver your photos, videos, galleries and prints.
  • To keep business records.
  • To contact you about your booking, and occasionally to ask for feedback or a review.
  • To show examples of our work, but only as described in section 4.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4. Event photos, videos and marketing

We may share selected photos or videos from events on our website and social media to show our work. If you would rather your event, or any particular image, is not used this way, tell us at the time of booking or any time afterwards and we will respect that and remove anything already posted. Guests can also ask us to remove an image of themselves by contacting us.

5. Who we share it with

We only share information with services we need to run the business, for example:

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which delivers messages sent through our website forms to our email inbox.
  • Email, cloud storage and gallery services we use to store and deliver your photos and videos.
  • Google, which provides visitor statistics (Google Analytics) on this website and hosts our Google Business reviews.
  • GitHub Pages, which hosts this website.

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Social media and other websites

Our website links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google. When you visit those sites, their own privacy policies apply.

7. Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed, how people found us and whether an enquiry form was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device and browser. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website still works without them. Instagram posts shown on our home page are loaded from Instagram (Meta), which may set its own cookies when they load.

8. How we keep it safe and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep booking records for as long as needed for the booking and for tax and legal record keeping. Event galleries are kept for a reasonable period after delivery so you can download them, then may be deleted. You can ask us to delete your photos or details earlier.

9. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
