What changes the price

Hours

Most companies price by the hour, with a minimum of 2 or 3 hours. Longer packages usually work out cheaper per hour.

Type of booth

360 booths often cost more than photo booths. Within photo booths, a simple open-air booth costs less than one with a professional camera, studio lighting and a backdrop.

An attendant

Self-serve booths cost less: someone sets the booth up, shows you how it works and collects it afterwards. Modern iPad booths take one tap, so they suit most parties. An attendant costs more but guides every guest, which helps with very large crowds. Rosco's photo booth is a self-serve iPad booth, and our 360 booth always comes with an attendant.

Prints, design and extras

Unlimited prints, a custom print design or overlay, a backdrop, props, an online gallery and a guest book can be included or charged as extras. Two packages at the same price can include very different things.

Travel and setup

Many companies charge travel outside metro Melbourne. Also check whether setup time counts towards your hours. At Rosco, setup and pack-down are included, and your hours start when the booth starts.

  • Does the price include GST, travel and setup?
  • Is there an attendant for the whole booking?
  • Are prints unlimited? Do guests get digital copies?
  • Can I have my names, date or logo on the photos or videos?
  • How much is the deposit, and what happens if I need to change the date?
